This is a static informational website. It does not require accounts, does not set first-party tracking cookies, and does not collect personal information from visitors. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) may be processed by our hosting provider for security and operations.

Links to third-party platforms — YouTube, Patreon, Substack, Discord, Reddit, podcast directories — lead to services governed by their own privacy policies. The Case Files Dispatch newsletter is operated through Substack; subscription data is handled under Substack's privacy policy.

The Dead Drop Archives Publishing Application

Dead Drop Archives operates an internal software tool that connects to the official APIs of the platforms we publish on — including the YouTube Data API (via Google OAuth), the TikTok Content Posting API, and the publishing APIs of X and Instagram — solely to publish and manage our own content on our own Dead Drop Archives accounts: uploading videos, editing titles, descriptions and metadata, posting and managing comments, and maintaining playlists.

This application is operated exclusively by the Dead Drop Archives production team on its own accounts. It does not access, collect, store, or process data belonging to any other user. Authorization credentials and access tokens are stored locally by the operator, are never transmitted to third parties, and can be revoked at any time through the relevant platform's account settings (for example, myaccount.google.com/permissions for Google).

The application's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Its use of the TikTok APIs adheres to the TikTok Developer Terms of Service, and its use of every other platform API adheres to that platform's developer terms.

Data Sharing & Sale

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties. We do not use data obtained through any platform API for advertising, market research, or any purpose other than operating the Dead Drop Archives accounts.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
